Had him out to fix our AC right before my in-laws arrived for a two-week visit. I cannot stress enough how important it was that this got done right and on time. He not only fixed it same day but also noticed our filter was the wrong size and grabbed the right one on his way back. Saved our visit (and probably my marriage lol).

I've been burned by contractors before - one guy literally ghosted me mid-project. So I was nervous hiring someone new. But from the first phone call I could tell this was different. Hired him to paint our living room and dining room. The painting itself? Chef's kiss. Seriously beautiful work, clean lines, no drips. However, he did track some paint on our carpet that I didn't notice until after he left. When I texted him about it, he came back same day and cleaned it up himself, which I appreciated. Docking one star for the oversight but adding it back for making it right.
